Life changing

With COVID I have been experience anxiety (lost quite a few family members and had a scare myself). I didn’t really want to be on Lexapro or some other anti-med and even had an evaluation that determined I did not have GAD but working through adjusting to this new normal along with all the deaths. Ken’s book has helped me push through the uncertainty and develop a new lifestyle of boldness and confidence. Even more so, I have learned how to find peace in imperfection and release the super woman cape. This season has been a very hard season for most of us and this book really helps to put things into perspective and break away from COVID anxiety.

Easily understandable and usable concepts to effectively manage anxiety

In this book, Ken Goodman makes understanding and overcoming anxiety simple and straightforward. His examples vividly illustrate concepts, making them easy to apply, and the exercises will leave readers with skills to effectively face anxiety for years to come! As a psychologist who specializes in treating anxiety, I find myself utilizing many of the concepts Ken uses in this book over and over again.

The best gift for yourself and others

I purchased three of these books for myself and two friends. We were all a little anxious from COVID and we thought it would have a calming effect. I’m loving working through the book and having such important information on staying focused and centered. The coloring is a great opportunity to focus on something pleasant and the reading content is valuable and specific on how to cope with anxiety. You don’t have to have an anxiety disorder to appreciate this. You just have to have an appreciation that we can all use wisdom and focus to get us though difficult times and seasons of our lives.
